Green Sangha Inspiring Awakened Action

Join our group, Green Sangha, for a peaceful meditation at the West Berkeley Senior Center and then venture out to University Ave. and Sixth Street to engage with lively sign-waving and smiles to help drivers "awaken" to driving alternatives, the connection to climate change and importance of the Copenhagen climate talks.
Meet at 11 am or 11:30 am for a 20-minute meditation
Location: West Berkeley Senior Center (inside), 1900 Sixth Street, Berkeley
Join our group as we gather at the corner of University Ave. and Sixth Street, waving signs and passing out information to people in cars and those passing by about climate change.

At 3 pm
Meet in San Francisco to converge with other groups supporting 350.org and The International Day of Climate Action.
Location: Justin Herman Plaza, San Francisco (Embarcadero BART) foot of Market Street
What to Bring
Signs (about climate change, alternatives to driving etc., if you feel like making one or use one of our signs), bring a smile and lots of friends and family!
